Oratory Back in Action, Back With TrueNicks

Written by moneil | Nov 28, 2009

Oratory (TrueNicks,SRO), the #2 first crop sire in Maryland, missed the 2009 breeding season at Country Life Farm with an injury but it's all systems go for 2010. The son of Pulpit was never off the board in his racing career and carried the Darley silks to an impressive stakes record win in the Peter Pan S. (gr. II) at Belmont Park. Out of the multiple stakes winning Dehere mare Arrested Dreams, Oratory is already off to a promising start at stud. He's the sire of 11 winners, 2 stakes winners and is in a tight battle with Dance With Ravens for the top spot among the Maryland first crop stallions. He could well be the next successful son of Pulpit after Sky Mesa and Tapit.

Beautiful horse, very well balanced.

Glad to see him back in action

I told you. This was my favourite Pulpit son as the next big sire after Sky Mesa and Tapit right from the start. And what he's done is not yet with 1st rate mares.

Has he test bred recently.  I was told he fractured his pelvis in a paddock accident last winter

Two stakes winners?

I just saw a one yr. old filly by Oratory. The mare is by Our Emblem.

Checked on the filly' pedigree and sw a Damascus cross. Her name is Dream Spoken and she looks like her sire. She looks like a stakes winner. Her confirmation is there and she's big.
