Raise the Bluff (TrueNicks,SRO) was a three-time stakes winner in his first career and placed in four other blacktype events, including a second place run in the grade III Longacres Mile Handicap. An earner of $342,706, Raise the Bluff is by Preakness Stakes (gr. I) winner Pine Bluff (by Danzig) out of a mare by A. P. Indy. He hails from the same female line as Champion 2-Year-Old and underrated sire Lord Avie.
Private Gold (TrueNicks,SRO) was a stakes winner at 2 and 3 on the Kentucky circuit, taking the James C. Ellis Juvenile and the Rushaway Stakes. He’s by Seeking the Gold out of the Elocutionist mare Temper the Wind, a prolific producer of winners. All but one of her 11 foals are winners and Private Gold is among her four stakes winners. Private Gold’s oldest foals are newly turned four-year-olds and he’s the sire of several stakes horses.
