TRAVERS STAKES LIVE ON HRRN SATURDAY
Coverage presented by TwinSpires to air nationwide on Sirius 219 & XM 201
Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY and official radio home of the Triple Crown and Breeders' Cup World Championships, announced Thursday, they will provide live radio coverage of Saturday's 151st running of the Grade 1 Travers Stakes beginning at 5:30 p.m. ET.
HRRN's coverage, presented by TwinSpires, can be heard throughout North America on Sirius 219/XM 201 along with terrestrial affiliates across the country. Live streaming will also be available on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net.
The 1-hour broadcast will also include the Grade 1 Test Stakes for three-year-old fillies at 7 furlongs on the main track and a recap of graded stakes run earlier in the day.
Mike Penna will anchor the coverage along with analyst Bobby Neuman. NYRA announcer John Imbriale will provide the call of each race.
In addition to the race coverage Saturday afternoon, fans can get ready for Travers day by tuning in to HRRN's popular weekly talk show, the Equine Forum, from 8-10 AM ET on Saturday morning. The show can be heard nationally on Sirius 219/XM 201 along with HRRN affiliates in Lexington and Louisville, KY, and is streamed live and podcast at www.horseracingradio.net.
