The first session of the Under Tack Show for the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's 2021 Spring Sale of 2-Year-Olds has been canceled. With severe impending weather approaching it has been determined that cancellation is the best and safest course of action for both horses and people, OBS said in a release.
The Under Tack Show will now be held over six sessions beginning April 12 and continuing through April 17 with all sessions starting at 8 a.m. ET
Revised Schedule:
- Hip No. 1 — 203 Monday, April 12
- Hip No. 204 — 406 Tuesday, April 13
- Hip No. 407 — 608 Wednesday, April 14
- Hip No. 609 — 811 Thursday, April 15
- Hip No. 812 — 1014 Friday, April 16
- Hip No. 1015 — 1217 Saturday, April 17
The sale is April 20-23 with each session beginning at 10:30 a.m. EST. Hips 1-304 go on the block April 20, followed by Hips 305-608 April 21, Hips 609-912 April 22, and Hips 913-1217 April 23.
The Under Tack Show will be streamed live via the OBS website at obssales.com and bloodhorse.com.
The workouts will be recorded and can be viewed on the OBS website, in their entirety or by individual hip number. They will also be available in the OBS video room as well as several kiosks in the breezeway and covered walking ring. Under Tack Show results are posted on the OBS website.
