The Indiana-bred by Katherine Virginia Dent and campaigned by Kathy Dent initially chased the pace against 11 other contenders, swinging three wide in the final turn and surged clear in the final eighth to stop the clock in 1:36.86 on the firm turf. She won by 3 3/4 lengths for trainer Brandi Steele, while fractions were set in 22.76, 46.77, 1:12.09, and 1:24.38 by Berea.
The bay filly out of Nora's Song, by War Chant is the dam's second foal and second winner. Nora's Star has made 6 starts, two of which hit the board this year on the turf, she currently has earned $30,232.
