F-T Midlantic Fall Yearlings Sale Entices Buyers
The Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Fall Yearlings Sale held at the Timonium Fairgrounds saw buyers in force over the weekend looking for Maryland-bred stock and pinhook prospects for next year ahead of the two-day sale, Oct. 2-3. This year, the catalog offers 412 individuals heading through the ring beginning at 3 p.m. ET Monday and 11 a.m. Tuesday. "This sale always proves there is something here for everyone; whatever your taste or pocketbook, there is something here," Paget Bennett, Fasig-Tipton Midlantic sales director, commented. "Today brought a lot of lookers, and the consignors felt good about the foot traffic. With the nice weather, they have been showing all day, and with the later start time tomorrow, we will get another wave of local people and trainers before the 3:00 kick-off. The people who believe in this market and have had successes out of this sale are back." Recent graduates of the Midlantic sale include 2022 Spinaway Stakes (G1) winner Leave No Trace. We added 20 horses to our supplement, which we feel good about as well."
