Catalog Available for Inaugural Inglis Digital USA Sale

The catalog for the Inglis Digital USA July Sale, the company's inaugural auction, is online now, featuring a diverse slate of high-quality offerings. Bidding is currently live for the online auction, and lots will begin to close July 17 at 2 p.m. ET, with subsequent listings closing in three-minute increments. The debut catalog includes in-foal broodmares and broodmare prospects, yearlings, and horses of racing age. Among the black-type mares on offer are Hazelbrook, offered pregnant to 2018 Triple Crown winner Justify, and racing/broodmare prospect Lucky Girl (IRE). Hazelbrook, a 6-year-old Bayern mare, was Canada's champion female sprinter of 2022, and she is offered in foal for the first time to Justify on an April 7 cover. A two-time grade 3 winner, Hazelbrook is a half sister to grade 3 winner Zuzanna, from the extended family of 1990 Breeders' Cup Mile (G1T) winner Royal Academy and grade 2 winner Terlingua, the dam of the mighty Storm Cat. Justify has rocketed up the charts following a stellar 2023 Breeders' Cup, where he was represented by Just F Y I and Hard to Justify. His range has continued to expand in 2024 with City of Troy winning the Epsom Derby (G1) and the Coral-Eclipse Stakes (G1). Lucky Girl, a 5-year-old daughter of champion sire Exceed And Excel (AUS) is offered as a racing or broodmare prospect. She is a three-time stakes winner in Southern California with fourth-place efforts in the 2023 Yellow Ribbon Handicap (G2T) and April 6 Monrovia Stakes (G3T), with an eye towards the Aug. 10 Yellow Ribbon at Del Mar. Also featured in the catalog is Gabaldon (Hip 8), a stakes-winning 2-year-old Gone Astray colt who most recently finished an impressive second in the listed Windsor Castle Stakes during the prestigious Royal Ascot meet. The catalog also features a yearling half sister to Gabaldon, by the fast-rising young sire Girvin. Unraced juveniles in the July sale include Bongos (IRE), an Irish-born full sister to grade 2-placed Kinchen (IRE). Also on offer is a Vino Rosso filly from the family of grade 1-winning sires Jack Christopher and Street Boss, as well as the exciting juvenile Complexion. The draft of racing-age horses also includes the stakes-winning 3-year-old Otello (by Curlin), along with stakes-placed Milliat (IRE) (by Kodiac (GB)), and Diamonds Danzing (by Danzing Candy). The slate of breeding stock offerings features mares in foal to exciting young stallions including Omaha Beach, Rock Your World, Cloud Computing, and Improbable.
