Cody Dorman's Legacy Celebrated at Keeneland

Wish kid Cody Dorman was 12 when Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana introduced him to the Thoroughbred Cody's Wish that would impact their lives and inspire the world. Before he passed away in November of 2023, Cody dedicated his life to making other wishes come true, speaking at Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana fundraising events. After he died, $175,000 was donated in his memory, including a generous $75,000 gift from Godolphin. At the 17th annual Make-A-Wish Day at Keeneland Oct. 10, Cody's legacy was celebrated with the announcement of the creation of the Cody Dorman Legacy Wish Fund. An additional $65,000 was raised Oct. 10. Make-A-Wish is grateful for the support of donors like Big Ass Fans, Breeders' Cup, and Godolphin for fulfilling Cody's desire to grant more wishes. Cody taught us all what love means in his short life and that anything is possible through a wish. We're grateful for Cody's impact on us, and countless others. His life and legacy will never be forgotten.
