Recent Group 1 Winner Ramatuelle Added to F-T November

Ramatuelle, recent winner of the Prix de la Foret (G1) at Longchamp, headlines the latest group of supplemental entries to Fasig-Tipton's star-studded The November Sale. A 3-year-old daughter of 2018 American Triple Crown winner and global sire sensation Justify, Ramatuelle (Hip 310) is consigned as a racing/broodmare prospect by Bedouin Bloodstock, agent. Ramatuelle turned heads Oct. 6, winning the prestigious Prix de la Foret by three lengths over the largest field assembled for the race in the current century. Tackling older males for the first time, she defeated a deep field that included group 1-winning older males Kinross (GB), Tribalist (GB), Big Rock (FR), and King Gold (FR). Ramatuelle's victory in the Prix de la Foret capped an already strong 3-year-old season that included a classic placing in the One Thousand Guineas (G1), as well as a third in the Coronation Stakes (G1). At 2, she captured the 2023 Prix Robert Papin (G2) and Prix du Bois (G3) and finished second in the Prix Morny (G1) to dual group 1-winning 2-year-old colt Vandeek (GB). She faced males in all five of her 2-year-old starts. Ramatuelle's next anticipated start is the Breeders' Cup Mile (G1T) at Del Mar Nov. 2. Ramatuelle is the first foal out of 2018 German champion older mare and multiple group stakes winner Raven's Lady (GB), by Raven's Pass. Her second dam, Pivotal Lady (by Pivotal), is a daughter of group stakes winner Sueboog, who is also the dam of 2002 Prix d' Ispahan (G1) winner Best of the Bests. Her immediate family includes Fair Salinia, winner of the 1978 Epsom Oaks (G1), Irish Oaks (G1), and Yorkshire Oaks (G1), as well as 2011 Prix du Jockey Club (G1) winner Reliable Man (GB). "Ramatuelle is a true international collector's item," said Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning. "She is a beautifully bred 3-year-old daughter of Justify, in the best form of her career, and headed for the Breeders' Cup after a dominating performance over older males in one of France's great races. Ramatuelle is one of the most exciting offerings to be sold in the world this year and Fasig-Tipton is honored to have the opportunity to showcase her at our marquee November Sale."
