Winners of 2024 T.I.P. Championships Announced

The Jockey Club Thoroughbred Incentive Program Championships concluded Oct. 27, with participation from 206 Thoroughbreds and 210 riders. The show was held at Stable View in Aiken, S.C., Oct. 24-27. Cash prizes of $2,000 per division were awarded to the 42 divisions offered, which included hunters, jumpers, English pleasure, dressage, combined test, Western pleasure, ranch riding, competitive trail, and in-hand competition. "The 2024 T.I.P. Championships was a phenomenal display of the versatility and potential of Thoroughbreds in careers after their time on the track," said Kristin Werner, coordinator of T.I.P. "Even though we had to postpone the event until the end of October, we still had great competition and a great turnout. We would like to thank everyone for their continued support of T.I.P. and the team at Stable View for helping to make this event a success." The winners and reserve champions for the T.I.P. Championships: To qualify for the championships, a T.I.P.-eligible Thoroughbred must participate in a show offering T.I.P. high point awards, classes, or divisions in the applicable discipline beginning August 1 of the prior year through July 31 of the championships year or participate in the T.I.P. Performance Awards in the applicable discipline or qualify through a hardship request. To be eligible for T.I.P. shows, a Thoroughbred is defined as any horse that has been registered with The Jockey Club or a foreign Thoroughbred stud book recognized by The Jockey Club.
