Sparkling Plenty Cataloged to Arqana Vente d'Élevage

Sparkling Plenty (FR), the winner of the Prix de Diane (G1), where she beat top performers Tamfana (GER) and Aventure (IRE), will go under the hammer at the Arqana Vente d'Élevage Dec. 7 in Deauville, France. The best 3-year-old filly in Europe to be offered at public auction this year, with a rating of 115, Sparkling Plenty is cataloged as Lot 200 and will be consigned by Haras de Bouquetot. Unbeaten in two outings at 2, including in the Prix Delahante over 1,700 meters (about 1 1/16 miles), she posted an impressive victory in the Prix de Sandringham (G2) over 1,600 meters (about one mile) by three lengths in June before taking the prestigious Prix de Diane over Tamfana and subsequent Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe (G1) runner-up Aventure. Able to race over a range of distances, Sparkling Plenty most recently finished third in the Prix de l'Opéra (G1). The blue-blooded daughter of Kingman (GB), out of a mare by Frankel (GB), hails from an iconic Schlenderhan maternal line, that of Stacelita (FR), also the winner of the Prix de Diane in 2009 and now an exceptional broodmare in Japan, as well as Sauterne (FR), the 2023 Prix du Moulin de Longchamp (G1) winner. ''We are delighted to present a Prix de Diane winner at the upcoming Arqana Vente d'Élevage'', said Haras de Bouquetot director Benoit Jeffroy. ''A classic winner with such a pedigree represents a rare opportunity and exceptional racing and breeding potential.'' "It's an exceptional opportunity to be able to offer a classic winner at the end of her 3-year-old season," said Arqana president Olivier Delloye. ''Sparkling Plenty has demonstrated her class since her debut and has fantastic opportunities on the racecourse at four, being just as brilliant over a mile as she is over 2,100 meters. Sparkling Plenty also comes from one of the finest European families that includes Stacelita, Sauterne, and Soul Stirring, that have shone at the highest level both in Europe and Japan. She is an absolute rarity at public auction and we are honored to be able to offer her in the Arqana ring on Dec. 7."
