Mahoning Valley Lifts Quarantine on Barn 4

Officials at Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course reported that the track would lift its quarantine mandate on Barn 4 at 4 p.m., Dec. 13, as all samples for strangles PCR have tested negative. With the quarantine lifted, the track will return to regularly scheduled training hours moving forward. Effective immediately, the track will be enforcing the following: Any trainer stabled in Barn 4 or shipping into Barn 4 must provide a negative strangles PCR test within five days prior to arrival. This requirement is in addition to the already required health certificates, proof of vaccinations and Coggins (as outlined in the stall application and condition book). This requirement will be in place for a minimum of 30 days.
