Bidding opened Feb. 26 for the Fasig-Tipton Digital Soul of an Angel Flash Sale, a one-horse online auction of Eclipse champion female sprinter Soul of an Angel. Bidding will close March 4 at 6 p.m. ET.
Soul of an Angel clinched the Eclipse Award for champion female sprinter of 2024 with her impressive victory in the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint (G1) Nov. 2 at Del Mar. With an electrifying turn of foot, she swept past an elite field that included grade 1 winners Society, Ways and Means, and Vahva, earning a 3 3/4 Ragozin speed figure. Only Gamine recorded a faster Ragozin winning the race in the last 10 years.
Formerly campaigned by trainer Gerald James who co-owned her with Hall Performance, Soul of an Angel was purchased privately by C2 Racing Stable and Agave Racing Stable and transferred to the barn of trainer Saffie Joseph Jr. in the spring of 2024. In her first start for those connections, Soul of an Angel won the Ruffian Stakes (G2) in New York, defeating grade 1 winner Randomized by 4 3/4 lengths. Two starts later in the Molly Pitcher Stakes (G3), she gave multiple Eclipse champion Idiomatic all she could handle, going head-to-head the length of the stretch with her to be beaten just a head. She later cruised to a 3 1/4-length victory in the Princess Rooney Invitational Stakes (G3) at Gulfstream Park.

A 6-year-old mare by Atreides, Soul of an Angel is out of the unplaced The Factor mare Factor One, a half sister to 2009 Champagne Stakes (G1) winner Homeboykris and stakes-placed Lucky Slevin, by Two Punch.
Soul of an Angel is being offered as a racing/broodmare prospect by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent. She has a 6-7-6 record in 42 starts for earnings of $1,205,175.
Soul of an Angel is stabled at Gulfstream Park and available for inspection.
