Arkansas Derby, Florida Derby top Busy Radio/TV Week
One of the most important, and exciting, weekends on the horse racing calendar every year is here, with two prestigious qualifying points races for the Kentucky Derby (G1) set for Saturday, March 29. Both the Florida Derby (G1) at Gulfstream Park and the Arkansas Derby (G1) at Oaklawn Park offer points to the top five finishers on a 100-50-25-15-10 scale. Both the Florida Derby and the Arkansas Derby will be broadcast live by the NBC Sports horse racing team on CNBC CNBC and streamed on Peacock during a two-hour “Road to the Kentucky Derby” show airing from 6-8 p.m. ET Saturday. These two marquee races will also air on FanDuel TV FanDuel TV along with other action from Gulfstream and Oaklawn as well as racing from tracks such as Santa Anita Park and Turfway Park, which holds its spring meet closing night card Saturday. The Arkansas Derby also will be shown live on "Amercia's Day at the Races" Saturday along with undercard races at Oaklawn and also races from Aqueduct.
