McPeek to Allow Fans to See Thorpedo Anna at Keeneland

Trainer Kenny McPeek posted on the social media platform X Oct. 17 that he would allow fans to see the recently retired Thorpedo Anna at his Keeneland on Oct. 25 from 11 a.m. to noon ET for photographs. "Bring peppermints," he added for visits to see her at barn 25, stall 1. Keeneland, unlike most racetracks, has a barn area that is not gated from the public. Consideration and careful attention to the horses and those working there is advised. The trainer continued that both Keeneland and Churchill Downs have to parade the reigning Horse of the Year "the weekend of October 25/26. Stay tuned for which race." Keeneland concludes its fall meet Oct. 25, while Churchill Downs opens for its fall meet Oct. 26. BloodHorse will provide updates on that information when it becomes available.
