War of Will's Early Bird Stud Fee Set at $5,000

Rockridge Stud, located near Hudson, N.Y. announced Oct. 19 that the "early bird" 2026 stud fee for War of Will will be $5,000. His fee is subject to change after the Breeders' Cup World Championships at Del Mar. It was announced last week that the 2019 Preakness Stakes (G1) winner would be moving from Claiborne Farm near Paris, Ky. to Rockridge Stud. The 9-year-old son of War Front stood his first four seasons for an advertised fee of $25,000, and stood the 2025 season at $20,000. Claiborne Farm will continue to be a shareholder in War of Will's new syndicate at Rockridge. His top runners to date are graded stakes winners Will Then, winner of the 2024 Jimmy Durante Stakes (G3T) and recent Matron Stakes (G3T) winner Final Accord. He ranked ninth on the first-crop sire list in 2024 with 19 winners from 72 runners.
