Study of Man Leads Lanwades Stud Roster For 2026

The exploits of Kalpana (GB) have earned Study of Man (IRE) a substantial raise as he heads the Lanwades Stud roster at a new perch of £35,000 ($46,138) for 2026. Study of Man, the Prix du Jockey Club (G1)-winning son of Deep Impact, was standing at £25,000 this year at Kirsten Rausing's Newmarket Stud. Kalpana, his best performer to date, retained her Qipco British Champions Fillies and Mares Stakes (G1) title at Ascot after a string of other fine efforts at group 1 level. The mare heads the eight stakes winners the stallion has sired this season and they also include Ballyroan Stakes (G3) winner Sons And Lovers (GB). Study of Man has also sired listed winners lately including Deepone, Fleur de Chine, Francophone, Almeric, Allonsy, and Suite Francaise. Joining him on the roster is the top-class Sea The Moon (GER), who already is the sire of a German Oaks (G1) and Derby (G1) winner. The son of Sea The Stars (IRE) has been given a small trim from £22,500 to £20,000. The stallion has been represented by four individual stakes winner this season, including group 3-winning pair Quest the Moon and Rayif.
