Enable, Bluestocking Will Visit Dubawi in 2026

Juddmonte has announced mating plans for its European blue-blooded broodmare band, led by group 1 winners or producers such as Enable (GB), Bluestocking (GB), and Emulous (GB). Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe (G1) heroines Enable and Bluestocking will visit Dubawi (IRE), while Emulous (dam of Bluestocking) and Viadera (GB) will be covered by Camelot (GB). Nimble Thimble heads to Havana Grey (GB) with her group 1-winning daughter Quadrilateral (GB) set to be paired with Lope De Vega (IRE). Pavlosk, the dam of Babouche (GB), visits Mehmas (IRE), while Babouche and Juliet Foxtrot (GB) will be among British and Irish champion sire Night Of Thunder (IRE)'s book. Repose, the dam of State Of Rest (IRE), will head for a repeat mating with Starspangledbanner (AUS). Obligate (GB), the dam of new Banstead Manor Stud resident Lead Artist (GB), will be covered by Siyouni (FR). Lead Artist, the Lockinge Stakes (G1) winner who will stand his first season at a fee of £12,500, will receive top-level producers Exemplify (GB), the dam of Breeders' Cup Mile (G1T) winner Expert Eye (GB), and Kilo Alpha, the dam of Jenny Wiley Stakes (G1T) winner Juliet Foxtrot. His debut book will also contain stakes-winning mares Alocasia, Classical Times, Diaphora, Scottish Jig, and YesYes. Lead Artist hails from the signature Juddmonte family of Hasili and Dansili, and the son of Dubawi was accordingly well received by breeders during the Tattersalls December sales. Meanwhile, Chaldean (GB)'s first foals went through the sales ring this winter and made a big impact when averaging £106,107 for 33 sold and a median of £84,000. He has covered some of Juddmonte's proven mares in his first two seasons at stud, and this will continue in 2026 with champion Midday (GB), the dam of four stakes performers; Quail (GB), responsible for group 3 winner Faiyum (GB); and the grade 3 scorer and grade 1-placed Grand Jete (GB) among his book. The Two Thousand Guineas (G1) and Dewhurst Stakes (G1) hero will also be covering black-type performers Chaleur, Raymonda, and Vivienda. Frankel (GB) sired his 40th individual top-level winner this year and added two more classic heroines to his name in the form of Lake Victoria (IRE) and Minnie Hauk (IRE). Juddmonte mares visiting him include group/grade 1 winners Capla Temptress (IRE), Proviso (GB), Special Duty (GB), Teona (IRE), and Whitebeam (GB), as well as Bird Flown (GB), the dam of Irish Two Thousand Guineas (G1) hero Siskin. Some of the group/graded winners he will be covering include Brostaigh, Isabella Giles, Matilda Picotte, Andromede, Better Together, Juliet Sierra, Ottery, Sacred Bridge, and Swelter, as well as Calyx's listed-winning sister Coppice. Frankel will also be covering the dams of his group winners, Red Letter and Time Lock. Kingman (GB) is now the sire of over 60 group winners, and in 2025, became the second-fastest stallion in history to sire 100 northern hemisphere-bred stakes winners, behind only Frankel. Princess De Lune (IRE) was purchased privately from Bobby and Honora Donworth of Roundhill Stud, and the dam of Irish Two Thousand Guineas and St James's Palace Stakes (G1) hero Field Of Gold (IRE) will visit Kingman again, as will the dams of his exciting prospects Firefall, Publish, and Maintain. Kingman will also cover the dams of Royal Ascot-winning 2-year-olds Calyx and Fairy Godmother, while the stakes winners in his book include Apollo Fountain, Ardent, Fount, Heliac, Juncture, Petricor, Soffia, Sun Maiden, Wendla, and Zanzoun.
