With the Kentucky Derby (G1) 11 weeks away, the pari-mutuel field of "All Other 3-Year-Olds" closed as the 9-2 favorite in Pool 4 of the Kentucky Derby Future Wager. Risen Star Stakes (G2) winner Paladin, from the barn of trainer Chad Brown, was the 9-1 second choice. Through the first four pools, a total of $1,277,506 has been bet on Derby future wagers, a 1.9% jump from last year's $1,253,931. Inaugurated in 1999, the Kentucky Derby Future Wager has been offered for a 28th consecutive year. Other Future Wager dates are set for March 13-15 (Pool 5) and April 2-4 (Pool 6).
