JRHA Unveils Select Sale Catalog

The Japan Racing Horse Association announced May 25, 270 yearlings and 252 foals are cataloged for the 2026 JRHA Select Sale July 13-14 at Northern Horse Park near New Chitose Airport in Hokkaido. The catalog index is available on the JRHA's website. The biggest catalog in recent years contains representatives of international leading sires and crops out of mares with the highest profile. This year's catalog includes eight foals and 12 yearlings by Real Steel (JPN), the sire of 2025 Breeders' Cup Classic (G1) winner Forever Young (JPN). The yearling catalog of this year's JRHA Select Sale features the first crop by Equinox (JPN), the world's highest-rated horse in 2023. There are 14 yearlings by Equinox included in the catalog, as well as three foals by six-time grade 1 winner Auguste Rodin (IRE), who is by multiple leading sire Deep Impact.
