Racing Prospects Highlight Inglis Digital USA June Sale
The catalog for the Inglis Digital USA June Sale is now online, offering racing prospects with strong recent form and opportunities to bolster your broodmare band or pinhooking operations between seasons. Bidding opened June 5 for the online auction, which features 31 offerings, and it will close June 10. The first lot will close that day at 2 p.m. ET, and each successive offering will hammer in three-minute increments, featuring a live broadcast to showcase each horse as the fall of the hammer draws near. The Inglis Digital USA platform is supported by sellers across North America, and the June catalog once again offers a wide range of local options for buyers all over the map, with horses available for inspection in Kentucky, New York, Florida, California, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, Washington, Arizona, West Virginia, and Missouri. "We're pleased with the group we've put together," said Inglis Digital USA CEO Kyle Wilson. "There's some very talented racehorses available in this sale, and we think the whole catalog will be well received." The draft of racing prospects highlights the June sale, led by Range Goat, a promising 3-year-old Bolt d'Oro colt who earned a 90 Beyer Speed Figure in his most recent start, where he dominated an Evangeline Downs maiden special weight field by 10 1/2 lengths. The maiden win was foreshadowed by the ambition of owner/breeder Brian Levings and trainer Juan Larrosa in his prior start, where Range Goat finished a solid third in the Lafayette Stakes at Evangeline in just his second career start. Range Goat is consigned by VanMeter Sales, and he is available for inspection at Larrosa's barn at Evangeline Downs in Louisiana. Also coming into the June sale off a strong speed figure performance is Gigabit, a 3-year-old Dialed In filly who earned a 92 Beyer for winning a 5-furlong allowance at Horseshoe Indianapolis by a widening 6 1/4 lengths. It was the second win in five starts for Gigabit, who broke her maiden at the same track last year by 8 lengths. The racing/broodmare prospect is out of the multiple stakes-winning Kantharos mare Adventurous Lady, whose other foals of note include multiple stakes winner Twirling Queen. Gigabit is consigned by Lantern Hill Farm, and she is available for inspection at The Thoroughbred Center in Lexington. Sr Seventyone enters the sale off a head-turning debut win at Churchill Downs, where the 2-year-old Blame filly took command early and drew off to win by 5 3/4 lengths. Beyond the potential the filly shows on the racetrack, she also has significant residual value as a future broodmare prospect, being a daughter of prominent broodmare sire Blame, out of the stakes-winning Include mare Noble Charlotte, herself a sister to grade 1 winner and grade 1 producer Marley's Freedom who is also by Blame. Sr Seventyone is consigned by Naukabena Farms, and she is available for inspection at Keeneland. Also on offer is Thisishowwedoit, a 3-year-old Jimmy Creed filly who ran her best race to date June 2, winning a Penn National Race Course turf maiden special weight by a length. The filly is Maryland-bred and Virginia-certified, giving her plenty of options to carry that momentum across the Mid-Atlantic this summer. Thisishowwedoit is consigned by Wasabi Venture Sales, and she can be inspected at Penn National. The broodmares in the catalog include Ghost Punch, a Ghostzapper mare offered with her colt from the first crop of Kentucky sire Tapit Trice at her side. She is pregnant to Gentlemen's Bet. Other broodmares are offered pregnant to Dialed In, Eastwood, Modernist, and Storm the Court. The June sale's yearling selection includes horses by Bee Jersey, Bucchero, Perfect Timber, and Tale of Silence.
