Ellis Park Postpones July 2 Card Due to Heat

Ellis Park has postponed its July 2 card and will move it in its entirety to July 6 due to extreme heat forecasted for the Henderson, Ky. area. The National Weather Service has issued an extreme heat warning for the area with heat index values of up to 109 degrees. There are currently no changes to Friday-Sunday's schedule, with daily first posts of 11:50 a.m. CT. Officials will continue to monitor the forecast and make any necessary adjustments.
