Fairmount Park Expects Heat, Cancels Aug. 15 Card

In an abundance of caution for all participants, both human and equine, live racing at Fairmount Park has been canceled for Saturday, August 15, 2026, due to forecasted extreme temperatures. Racing will resume on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. College Scholarship Day will also be rescheduled for a later date, to be announced soon. The Fairmount Park casino and Longshots restaurant will still be open on Saturday, August 15.
