Eight Supplements Added to Keeneland November Sale
Keeneland announced Oct. 8 that eight horses have been supplemented to Book 1 of the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale Nov. 3. The session, which has cataloged 266 horses, begins at 1 p.m. ET. The broodmares supplemented to Book 1 are: Chart, dam of Natalma Stakes (G1T) winner and Schuylerville Stakes runner-up Voyager. In foal to Constitution, the 9-year-old mare by Lea is a grade 3 winner from the family of 2018 Irish highweighted older horse Spirit of Valor; grade 1 winner Furiously; grade 2 winner Brilliant; and stakes winner and grade 2-placed Street Life. Stoneriggs Farm consigns Chart. Gran Nighthawk, dam of undefeated juvenile Repo Man, who won the Oct. 4 Zuma Beach Stakes (G3T) at Santa Anita Park. In foal to Yaupon, the 11-year-old daughter of Awesome Again is a full sister to multiple graded stakes winner Awesome Baby. Warrendale Sales, agent, consigns Gran Nighthawk. Weanlings added to the catalog are: A colt by Gun Runner and a half brother to grade 2 winner Stitched and stakes winner Swill. A colt by Life Is Good and a half brother to grade 2 winner Future Is Now and stakes winner Call Another Play. The racing or broodmare prospects in the first round of supplements are: Grammy Girl, a 5-year-old daughter of Mastery, who won this year's Vagrancy (G3) and Distaff (G3) stakes at Aqueduct Racetrack. She is out of the winning Songandaprayer mare Song Girl, a half sister to champion Classic Empire. Grammy Girl is consigned by Gainesway, agent. Grayosh, a 5-year-old mare by Yoshida (JPN) who won this year's Matchmaker Stakes (G3T) at Monmouth Park and the 2024 Lake Placid Stakes (G2T) at Saratoga Race Course. Out of stakes-placed Rosie O'Prado, by Paddy O'Prado, she is consigned by ELiTE, agent. Hereforagoodtime, a 4-year-old grade 3-placed daughter of Justify, she is a half sister to Hopeful Stakes (G1) winner The Good Life. Consigned by Upson Downs Farm, agent, she is from the family of grade/group 1 winners New Year's Day and Enforceable; grade 2 winners Mohaymen and Chace City; and grade 3 winner Kingly. A total of 3,405 horses have been cataloged to the November Breeding Stock Sale, which will cover nine sessions through Nov. 11. Keeneland will consider supplemental entries to Book 1 until the November sale begins. The stand-alone Keeneland November Horses of Racing Age Sale will take place Nov. 12. The catalog for that auction is scheduled to be released Oct. 14.
