Walden, Biancone Part of 'The Good Life Podcast'
Elliott Walden, former CEO and Racing Manager of WinStar Farm, has teamed with an all-star roster of sports and broadcasting figures to launch a new show: "The Good Life Podcast." Co-hosted by Tom Leach, the iconic "Voice of the Wildcats," Jeff Sheppard, former University of Kentucky basketball standout and father of NBA star Reed Sheppard, and Andie Biancone from NBC Sports, the podcast intersects the worlds of horse racing, mainstream sports, faith, and business. The first episode of the weekly podcast was released on Thursday. "It's going to be fun," said Elliott Walden. "I've been blessed to have a great career, both training and with WinStar, and I was looking to do something a little different but also something that can be impactful." Blending in-depth interviews and profiles with compelling storytelling, "The Good Life Podcast" will feature candid conversations with high-profile leaders, athletes, and voices shaping Kentucky racing, sports, business, and faith to deliver stories behind the success, not just the results. "There are already a lot of podcasts in the horse racing industry that focus on entries and results," Walden said. "We don't want to be just another voice speaking to entries and results. We want to have conversations that matter and have some depth and weight to them." To deliver on that vision, Walden has assembled a uniquely versatile and accomplished co-hosting team. "Jeff is somebody that people will resonate with," Walden added. "He had a great collegiate athletic career and was a two-time National Champion at UK. He transitioned well after college and has a successful business, Family Wealth Group, that he is part owner of. He has a lot of wisdom to share. Tom, as the 'Voice of the Wildcats,' he has captured the heart of every young Kentuckian for decades, and Andie is a rising star in horse racing, and we're excited to have her part of the podcast as well." "The Good Life Podcast," which is sponsored by Keeneland, Breeders' Cup, WinStar Farm, Commonwealth Causes, JMI Sports, and Family Wealth Group, is available on the following platforms: YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, and iHeartRadio, as well as at www.thegoodlife.tv. "What makes horse racing so special is how it unites such a diverse mix of backgrounds, from business leaders to newcomers chasing a better future," Walden said. "Both groups carry rich, untold stories, and we can't wait to bring them to light." For more information, visit www.thegoodlife.tv.
