Noble Mission to Stand 2027 Season at Lanwades Stud
Frankel's brother Noble Mission (GB) is returning to Britain after a deal was arranged by Lanwades Stud in Newmarket. The group 1 winner will stand the 2027 season at a fee of £9,000 (US$12,075), for a strictly limited book of mares. Successful in the Gold Cup, Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud, and British Champion Stakes (all G1) for Lady Cecil in 2014, the Juddmonte homebred first stood at Lane's End Farm in the United States before switching to the Japan Bloodstock Breeders' Association's Shizunai Stallion Station for 2021. Noble Mission is the sire of nine group or graded winners around the world headed by the 2019 Travers Stakes (G1) and Jockey Club Gold Cup Stakes (G1) winner Code of Honor and Nobals, who lifted the 2023 Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint (G1T). Kirsten Rausing, owner and general manager of Lanwades, said: "We are delighted to welcome Noble Mission. He fills a much-needed place in the UK breeding industry, being a champion racehorse with an outstanding pedigree and excellent conformation. "He is also an established international sire, now available to European breeders at a very competitive fee. I would like to thank our friends at the JBBA for their co-operation in this deal, which was brokered by John Tyrrell of BBA Ireland."
