Sea The Stars, Daryz Lead Aga Khan's Gilltown Roster
Dual Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe (G1) hero Daryz (FR) will begin next year's covering season at Gilltown Stud at an introductory fee of €50,000 ($55,970). It was announced shortly after the colt's retirement by the Aga Khan Studs that he would join his father Sea The Stars (IRE) at the operation's Irish branch and he is likely to gain plenty of support from not only his owner/breeder but from key figures across the globe. Fees for an eight-strong Aga Khan Studs roster were revealed Nov. 2. Sea The Stars is unchanged at the head of affairs, with his €300,000 figure holding steady from this year. Erevann (FR), who has been moved to Gilltown from Haras de Bonneval for 2027, similarly remains unchanged at €8,000. Bonneval in France is bolstered by two new arrivals itself. Rayif (IRE), who sealed the Poule d'Essai des Poulains (French Two Thousand Guineas, G1)-Prix Jacques le Marois (G1) double, is introduced at €20,000 while the speedy Samangan (IRE), who won the Prix Maurice de Gheest (G1), is in at €10,000. The most notable news among the remainder was a trim to classic sire Siyouni (FR), from €150,000 this year to €110,000 ($123,130) in 2027. The reliable Zarak (FR) is unchanged at €80,000 for a third season in a row. Vadeni (FR), who is heading into his fourth season at stud, is also unchanged at a fee of €15,000.
