A colt born March 3 is the first reported foal by Indiana Stallion Station's grade 3 winner Shagaf and also the first foal out of the Eddington winner Rain On Sunday.

Bred in Indiana by Samuel Elliott, the colt is from the family of grade 2 winner and stakes producer Wortheroatsingold, the dam of grade 2-placed, grade 3 winner Daylight Savings and the granddam of New York stakes winner T Loves a Fight.

"The colt is nicely put together and has quite the personality," said Joyce Baker, owner of Indiana Stallion Station, which stands five stallions registered with the Indiana Thoroughbred Breed Development Program. "We're excited for his breeder and look forward to his future."

Shagaf stands as the property of Shadwell Farm, which bred and raced the 8-year-old son of Bernardini out of the Unbridled's Song stakes winner Muhaawara. The stallion's granddam is multiple grade 1 winner and graded stakes producer Habibti. Trained by Chad Brown, Shagaf won first out at 2, and at 3 won the Gotham Stakes (G3) by 1 1/4 lengths. He retired with three wins from seven starts and earned $331,700. He stands at Indiana Stallion Station for $2,500.

"We are grateful to Shadwell Farm for allowing us the chance to stand their regal stallion," said Baker. "We're looking forward to seeing more of his offspring this season and soon on the track."
