The opportunity to purchase horses owned by prominent owner and breeder Patricia Generazio will be offered through the Denali Stud consignment at the Keeneland January Horses of All Ages Sale.
Generazio and her late husband Frank have been very successful in racing, amassing over $32 million in earnings with homebreds and partnerships alike. In 2020 on behalf of herself and Frank, Generazio accepted the Lifetime Achievement Award from the New York Thoroughbred Breeders for excellence in that state-bred program. Their most notable homebred racehorses include grade 1 winners Presious Passion and Discreet Marq, and multiple graded stakes winners Pure Sensation and Disco Partner , the latter three trained by Christophe Clement.
"The program that Mr. and Mrs. Generazio have built together is remarkable, and it has been a pleasure to represent them on the track over the last decade," Clement said. "The quality of their program is in the strength of their mares and their ability to produce high-caliber racehorses with limited opportunity in terms of the stallions that they were bred to. You can really see this with how many successful homebreds they have campaigned over the years. What they've accomplished is extraordinary."
Among the dispersal at the Keeneland January Sale are racing/broodmare prospects Mischievous Dream, a stakes-winning filly with over $260,000 in earnings and from the family of Presious Passion, and Pure Bode, a half sister to multiple graded stakes winner Pure Sensation with almost $180,000 in earnings. In addition, Marquet Legacy, a half sister to Discreet Marq, is being offered in foal to Disco Partner.

The Keeneland January Horses of All Ages Sale is Jan. 9-12. Denali Stud will begin showing the Generazio horses, among others, Jan. 6.
