Fasig-Tipton has cataloged 240 selected yearlings for the 103rd Saratoga Sale, to be held Aug. 5-6, in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. Sessions will begin each evening at 6:30 p.m. EST in the Humphrey S. Finney Sales Pavilion.
"Our consignors have supported Saratoga with an outstanding group of yearlings once again this year," said Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning Jr. "The sire power on offer is strong and diverse, and the depth of pedigree as good as we have had in recent memory. We have siblings to 57 graded stakes winners cataloged, several of which are grade 1."
The Saratoga Sale is yet again the top-ranked major North American yearling sale by percentage of grade 1 winners and graded stakes winners according to statistics recently released by The BloodHorse MarketWatch.
Recent sales graduates include 2024 grade 1 winners Kingsbarns (Stephen Foster Stakes, G1), National Treasure (Pegasus World Cup Invitational Stakes and Metropolitan Handicap, both G1), Seize the Grey (Preakness Stakes, G1), and Sierra Leone (Blue Grass Stakes, G1).
"Saratoga offers the highest concentration of quality of any yearling sale in the world," noted Browning. "From catalogs of just 200 or more yearlings, Saratoga has produced five of the sport's most exciting stallion prospects in Kingsbarns, National Treasure, Prince of Monaco, Seize the Grey, and Sierra Leone, as well as back-to-back Preakness winners."
The catalog may now be viewed online, and will also be available via the Equineline sales catalog app. Print catalogs are now available from all Fasig-Tipton offices.
