The New York Racing Association announced Aug. 2 it has reached a contractual resolution with Churchill Downs Inc. that allows for customers of the advance-deposit wagering platform TwinSpires to regain immediate access to all NYRA content, including wagering on the summer meet at Saratoga Race Course.

In addition, all Churchill Downs content will be immediately available to NYRA Bets customers.

Terms were not disclosed in a release.

The NYRA content was pulled July 31 over a contractual dispute. NYRA said it sought financial terms from TwinSpires similar to those currently in place with all national ADW platforms offering NYRA races.

David O'Rourke, NYRA president and CEO, said in a statement Wednesday that NYRA asked ADWs to pay an additional source market fee of 1% on wagers from New York, reflecting a change from brick-and-mortar wagering to the largest ADWs.

Bill Carstanjen, CEO of CDI, claimed that NYRA was engaging in a "disturbing recent pattern of demanding significant new economics from ADWs for no additional value in return."

The NYRA/TwinSpires contractual conflict followed another one this summer involving NYRA and FanDuel Racing, in which the content and wagering were similarly restored in a matter of days.
