Hausfrau Racing's Colonel Bob won his debut by an impressive 5 1/4 lengths Aug. 20 at Parx Racing and became the first winner for Crestwood Farm's freshman sire Yorkton .

Pope McLean, Pope McLean Jr., and Marc McLean bred the first-out winner out of their winning Petionville mare Honorville, who has also produced stakes-placed winner Shoobiedoobydoo (Dialed In ) and eight other winners. Honorville was bred by Pope McLean Jr. and Marc McLean, who operate their family's Crestwood Farm.

Colonel Bob, trained by Butch Reid Jr., is Honorville's last reported foal.

Yorkton is a multiple grade 2-placed, grade 3 winner by 2004 Eclipse champion sprinter Speightstown. He was bred in Ontario by Chiefswood Stables, which raced Yorkton with trainers Stuart Simon and Graham Motion. Yorkton became a winner at 2 and went on to win and place in stakes on dirt, all-weather surfaces, and turf. At 3, he won the Queenston Stakes (seven furlongs) and King Corrie Stakes (6 1/2 furlongs) on Woodbine's all-weather main track, and the Charlie Barley Stakes (one mile on turf). At 4 in 2018, he won the 6 1/2-furlong Bold Venture Stakes (G3), which he won again in 2019. He also was runner-up in the Nearctic Stakes (G2T) and Vigil Stakes (G3) in 2018, and at 5 was third in the True North Stakes (G2) on Belmont Park's main track. He compiled a 7-4-3 record from 30 starts and earned $546,332.

Yorkton stood this year for $5,000.
