Go Bears Go, winner of the Railway Stakes (G2) as a 2-year-old, has been retired and will stand at Reddy and Linda Coffey's Springfield House Stud in Ireland, in partnership with owner Amo Racing.
A son of Kodi Bear, Go Bears Go was a high-class juvenile, with that success at the Curragh in the Railway Stakes plus placings in the Phoenix (G1) and Norfolk (G2) stakes.
He was a winner at Ascot on his debut that May and proved a model of consistency that campaign, ending it with a fine second in the 2021 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint (G2T) at Del Mar.
Go Bears Go was also a dual group winner as a 3-year-old, landing the 2022 Pavilion Stakes (G3) at Ascot on his seasonal comeback and then taking the Sprint Stakes (G3) at the Curragh. In 2023 he returned to America and ran five times, with the best result being a third in the Turf Sprint Stakes (G2T) at Churchill Downs.
Go Bears Go is the highest-rated runner produced by Kodi Bear, whose representatives this season include Queen Mary Stakes (G2) winner Leovanni and Cowardofthecounty (IRE), winner of the Prix Francois Boutin (G3) at Deauville.
Go Bears Go is out of the winning Giant's Causeway mare In Dubai, a half sister to the group and grade 1 winner Nahrain, dam of 2024 One Thousand Guineas (G1) heroine Elmalka and the three-time group 1 winner Benbatl. His second dam is Ribblesdale Stakes winner Bahr, also placed in the Epsom Oaks (G1) and Irish Oaks (G1).
