Rockridge Stud in New York announced Dec. 3 its seven-stallion roster and fees for the 2025 breeding season, topped by millionaires Americanrevolution , who stands for $12,500, and Mind Control , whose fee is $8,000. These are stands-and-nurses fees.
Among the accomplishments of both were victories in the Cigar Mile Handicap (G1), which Americanrevolution took in 2021, a year before Mind Control's success. Mind Control, an 8-year-old son of Stay Thirsty , entered stud in 2023, while Americanrevolution, a 6-year-old son of Constitution , followed him in 2024.
Americanrevolution stands in partnership with WinStar Farm, Taylor Made Stallions, Fortune Farm, and Mill Creek Farm. Mind Control stands in partnership with Irish Hill/Dutchess View Stallions, Waldorf Farm, and Hidden Lake Farm.
Other stallions on the Rockridge Stud roster include Slumber and War Dancer , who each stands for $7,500; Messier , who has a $5,000 fee; and Chewing Gun and Disco Partner . Fees for the latter two stallions are private.
Rockridge will allow breeders to see the two new stallions, Chewing Gum and Messier, at Mill Creek Farm in Stillwater on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 11 a.m.- noon ET. Light refreshments will be served.
The annual Rockridge Stud stallion show will be held on Saturday, Jan. 25, from noon-2 p.m. A full lunch buffet will be served, and drawings for free seasons to each stallion will be held at the show.
