The Japan Racing Association announced Jan. 10 the Top 5 most watched videos on its YouTube Channel in 2024. Four of the Top 5 videos are from jockey-worn cameras when they won major races, and four of the Top 5 feature the same combination of jockey and horse.

Yutaka Take's jockey-worn camera when he rode Do Deuce and won the Japan Cup (G1) Nov. 24 at Tokyo Racecourse was viewed 2,399,004 times—by far the most. The second-highest viewed video was Take's camera when he won the Tenno Sho Autumn (G1) Oct. 27 at Tokyo, which was viewed 1,240,482 times. The Japan Cup was viewed nearly twice as much as the Tenno Sho.

They are followed by the on-board camera of the winning jockey in the Dec. 24, 2023 Arima Kinen (G1) at Nakayama Racecourse, with 1,022,216 views, and race footage of 2024 Tenno Sho Autumn (G1) at Tokyo, with 697,641 views. Both the Arima Kinen in 2023 and Tenno Sho Autumn in 2024 were won by Do Deuce with Yutaka Take in the irons.

The on-board camera of Norihiro Yokoyama, when he rode Danon Decile and won the Japanese Derby (G1) May 26 at Tokyo was viewed 628,092 times and ranked fifth.

Do Deuce, crowned as the 2024 JRA Horse of the Year, has arrived at Shadai Stallion Station where he will stand the 2025 season for ¥10 million (approx. US$62,822).
