Bidding Opens for Inglis Digital USA March Sale

The sale features 29 horses and stallion seasons.

The catalog for the Inglis Digital USA March Sale is now available online, featuring a slate of 29 horses and stallion seasons.

Bidding is currently open for the online auction, with the first horse in the catalog closing March 26 at 2 p.m. ET, and subsequent listings hammering in three-minute increments.

Among the notable horses on offer is Lady Eliana (Hip 12), a half sister to the dam of 2024 Horse of the Year Thorpedo Anna. The winning daughter of Tapizar is offered as a broodmare prospect from the Premier Stallions consignment

Vinery Sales brings a sizable consignment to the March sale, including a quartet of quality broodmare prospects:

  • Bank On Anna, a Saratoga Race Course stakes-winning Central Banker  mare, out of the stakes-placed Posse mare Young Anna Lee.
  • Fleet Frost, a winning daughter of Frosted , is a half sister to grade 3 winner White Frost (a $1 million broodmare purchase by Stonestreet Thoroughbred Holdings) and stakes-placed Torres Del Paine, out of the stakes-winning Curlin  mare Miss Frost. Her extended family includes champions English Channel and Committed.
  • Professors' Pride is a daughter of Bayern who won the 2021 Soviet Pride Stakes at Santa Anita Park as a 2-year-old. She hails from the family of Argentine champion Anaerobio.
  • Tequila Kiss, a stakes-winning daughter of Competitive Edge , out of a half sister to multiple grade 1-placed Top Decile, who is herself the dam of Japanese champion Danon Decile.

The Vinery consignment also features broodmare Giant Bird, a half sister to 2020 Pegasus World Cup Invitational Stakes (G1) winner Mucho Gusto and grade 1-placed Go With Gusto. The Colonel John mare comes from a deep Pin Oak Stud family, featuring 1995 Canadian Horse of the Year Peaks and Valleys, grade 1 winner Higher Power , and grade 2 winner Alternation ; who all became sires. She is offered in foal to Bolt d'Oro .

Breeders looking to make late-season plans for their mares will take note of the no-guarantee seasons on offer from Kentucky sires Flameaway  and Modernist , New York sires Messier  and Mind Control , and Maryland sire Great Notion

A pair of broodmares are offered with an eye to the immediate future. The French-bred Princess Tine is offered with a no-guarantee season to Raging Bull  after she delivers the Demarchelier  foal she carries in utero. Meanwhile, the Lookin At Lucky mare Lookin At Grace is offered with her Feb. 25 Tapwrit filly at her side.

"We're thrilled to get our March sale underway with a strong collection of breeding stock along with quality racehorses and some no-guarantee seasons if you're still looking for a match for your mare," said Kyle Wilson, senior director of sales and recruiting for Inglis Digital USA. "Our entire team is ready to assist in any way."
