The top 10 of the latest National Thoroughbred Racing Association Top Thoroughbred Poll remains virtually unchanged.
The first nine hold their positions from a week ago, with Far Bridge surging into the No. 10 spot. A week ago, the son of English Channel didn't have as much as one vote in the poll. But a three-length victory in the July 12 Bowling Green Stakes (G2T) at Saratoga Race Course shot him into the top 10.
It's been a memorable year for the lone 5-year-old in the top 10. He is 3-0-1 from four starts and $570,280 in earnings. The Miguel Clement trainee also finished third in the Manhattan Stakes (G1T) after earlier wins in the Man o' War Stakes (G2T) and his 2025 debut in the Pan American Stakes (G3T).
More change is likely coming soon as sixth-ranked Journalism takes aim at the July 19 Haskell Stakes (G1) at Monmouth Park. A win would likely move the Preakness Stakes (G1) winner upward.
Mindframe maintains his hold on the top spot, even gaining a first-place vote to have 12 now. However, his overall lead over No. 2 Sovereignty was reduced from 31 points to 21 points.
Raging Torrent, who hasn't worked since winning the June 7 Metropolitan Handicap (G1) at Saratoga, lost one first-place vote, but held on as the third-ranked Thoroughbred. The Aug. 23 Pat O'Brien Stakes (G2) at Del Mar is a possible summer target.
