Fresh from a remarkable group 1 treble from graduates at Royal Ascot, Tattersalls Ireland has unveiled a catalog for its September Yearling Sale, which will undoubtedly receive particular interest.

A total of 505 yearlings have been listed for sale across the two sessions Sept. 23-24, while Part 2 will continue Sept. 25 with another 165 individuals up for grabs.

The hat trick achieved in June is one which will live long in the memory of those involved in the organization and is a fine advertisement for the quality which can be unearthed.

It began with Harry Eustace's Docklands, sourced at the event in 2021 for £16,000, earning a first top-level success in the Queen Anne Stakes (G1). Time For Sandals, bought for €35,000 in 2023, then completed an incredible meeting for the stable when taking the Commonwealth Cup (G1). Meanwhile, Cercene, the Australia filly who claimed the Coronation Stakes (G1), arrived at Joe Murphy's yard from that same 2023 renewal for €50,000.

The sale has long been popular with pinhookers and those looking for sharper types and the stream of 2-year-old winners has continued. They include the George Boughey-trained India Love, who remains unbeaten after three starts and holds an entry in the Lowther Stakes (G2). Ger Lyons' By The Lake and Richard Hannon trainee Lost Signal are others to have put the sale up in lights on the track.

Some of the early highlights include a Tasleet colt from the family of group 1-placed American Sonja (Lot 9), an Elzaam full brother to group 1 winner Champers Elysees (12), a Blackbeard half sister to group 2 winner Arizona and grade 2 winner Nay Lady Nay (14), and a No Nay Never half brother to two stakes horses including 2018 One Thousand Guineas Trial (G3) winner Who's Steph (36).

Further on, the catalog includes a Kodiac half brother to recent Leopardstown 2-year-old winner Mayflower (267), a Sea The Stars filly out of a half sister to six-time group 1 winner Moonlight Cloud (291), a Nando Parrado half sister to recent group 3 winner Copacabana Sands (371), a St Mark's Basilica filly out of grade 1-winning mare Capla Temptress (378), a Ten Sovereigns half brother to two-time group 3 winner Rafale Design (439), a Sioux Nation half brother to group 3 winner Novus (446), and a Havana Grey half sister to group 3 winner Fast Attack and out of multiple stakes-winning mare Fort Del Oro (451)

Among those in the Part 2 section is a Starspangledbanner half sister to two-time group 2 winner Coltrane (550).
