Grade 1-placed, graded stakes winner Bobby's Wicked One  has been retired and will enter stud at Acadiana Equine at Copper Crowne in Louisiana.

The 6-year-old son of Speightstown  will be syndicated for 50 shares and will stand this year for $3,500, according to David Tillson with Acadiana Equine.

"He looks like a Speightstown with a lot of power," said Tillson.

Bobby's Wicked One was bought for $130,000 by Autumn Hill Farm at the 2016 Keeneland September Yearling Sale out of the Claiborne Farm consignment. The colt went to the races with trainer Al Stall Jr. who watched him beat future grade 1 winner and champion Mitole  by more than five lengths in his debut. Bobby's Wicked One placed in a couple stakes at 3 and then put it all together at 4 when he won the Commonwealth Stakes (G3) at Keeneland and was runner-up in the Churchill Downs Stakes Presented by Twinspires.com (G1) to Mitole.

Bobby's Wicked One retired with a 6-4-1 record out of 18 starts and earnings of $547,673.

Bred by Ramona Bass in Kentucky, Bobby's Wicked One is out of the winning Ghostzapper  daughter Wicked Charm, who is a half sister to record-setting grade 1 winner and 2020 North American leading turf sire English Channel . The family also has produced multiple European champion Committed, grade 1 winner Pharma, and multiple graded stakes winner and 2001 Arlington Million Stakes (G1T) runner-up Hap.
