Bally's kicked off its rebranding of Arapahoe Park Aug. 11 by changing the track's name to Bally's Arapahoe Park, replacing the exterior entrance sign, and introducing a new interactive Bally Bet sports betting app.

"Incorporating the iconic Bally's brand at Arapahoe Park is the latest step in our comprehensive rebranding initiative," said George Papanier, president and CEO of Bally's. "We look forward to unveiling the new exterior signage as well as introducing the all-new interactive Bally Bet sports betting app to our valued Arapahoe Park customers."

Colorado voters legalized sports betting during the November 2019 election by a narrow margin of 50.8%, according to reports by the Denver Post. Sports betting officially launched statewide May 1, though seven casinos in Black Hawk, Central City, and Cripple Creek already owned licenses to operate. Sports betting is allowed in person at licensed casinos or through mobile or web-based apps that have partnerships with licensed Colorado casinos, the Post reported.

Arapahoe Park is one of two racetracks among Bally's properties along with Dover Downs harness track in Delaware. Arapahoe conducts 30 days of live racing, three days a week, from August through October for Thoroughbreds, Quarter Horses, and Arabians. This year's meet opened Wednesday.
