Uncle Mo, the sire of grade 1 winner Yaupon  and multiple graded stakes winner Mo Forza  this year, continues to lead the Ashford Stud roster by stud fee, with the American branch of Coolmore pricing him at $160,000 for the upcoming breeding season.

The 13-year-old son of Indian Charlie continues siring black-type winners at a brisk rate. He's sired 73 (7%) career stakes winners as of Oct. 19, of which 39 are graded/group winners. Yaupon became Uncle Mo's ninth grade 1 winner after capturing the Aug. 28 Forego Stakes (G1) at Saratoga Race Course. Mo Forza became a grade 1 winner in 2019 and this year has won two grade 2 turf stakes—the Del Mar Mile Stakes (G2T) and the City of Hope Mile Stakes (G2T). For 2021, Uncle Mo is the co-10th leading sire by number of stakes winners with 11 alongside Darley Stallions' Midshipman .

Munnings , a 15-year-old son of Speightstown, saw the largest increase in stud fee, which rises to a career high of $85,000 from $40,000 for this year. The stallion is co-ranked as the second-leading sire of 2021 by number of black-type stakes winners with 16 along with Hill 'n' Dale Farms at Xalapa's Curlin . Munnings has sired five graded stakes winner this year, which include Champagne Stakes (G1) winner Jack Christopher  and Madison Stakes (G1) winner Kimari.

Freshman sires Practical Joke  and Carravagio both had their fees raised to $35,000. These sires rank third and fourth, respectively, on the leading freshman sires' list by progeny earnings. Practical Joke, a son of Into Mischief , has sired 14 winners and two stakes winners to date, while Carravagio, a son of Scat Daddy, has sired a class-leading 21 winners and four stakes winners.

American Triple Crown winners American Pharoah  and Justify  both had their fees lowered for 2022. American Pharoah is in a tight race for the title of leading third-crop sire by progeny earnings with WinStar Farm's Constitution —they are separated by less than $300,000 with more than two months to go. American Pharoah, a 9-year-old son of Pioneerof the Nile, is the leading third-crop sire by number of 2021 black-type winners with 14. He will stand for $80,000 next year.

Justify had his fee adjusted to $100,000, down from $125,000. The son of Scat Daddy was represented by his first yearlings this year. At the Keeneland September Yearling Sale, he was represented by 61 sold of 76 offered that averaged $367,721.
