A few minutes after he won the sixth race at Saratoga Race Course with first timer Let's Go Big Blue, owner Bill Parcells became the coach again.

When asked what might be next for the gray son of Cairo Prince , Parcells, a member of the Professional Football Hall of Fame, offered this:

"I don't have a crystal ball," Parcells said with a smile in the Saratoga winner's circle. "I just know we won this week and we have another game coming up."

The 80-year-old Parcells, a two-time Super Bowl winner, spent 19 years as a head coach in the NFL with the New York Giants, New England Patriots, New York Jets, and Dallas Cowboys. His passion with horse racing will never rival football, but getting to the Saratoga winner's circle is still pretty sweet.

"This is a special place for me," Parcells said. "I live here for six months a year and I am just very, very happy to have a couple of wins here. Let's see if we can keep them coming."

Parcells' August Dawn Farm also won at Saratoga with Maple Leaf Mel for trainer Jeremiah Englehart on Aug. 10. Parcells was not at the track for that one as he was out with COVID-19.

"I'm over that now, thank God, and I'm feeling good," Parcells said.

Let's Go Big Blue, naturally, was named by Parcells. He coached the Giants from 1983-90, leading them to a pair of Super Bowl wins. Let's Go Big Blue is trained by George Weaver. He was ridden by Eric Cancel and went off at 9-2 in the 1 1/16-mile race on the inner turf.

Weaver said he started training horses for Parcells last fall.

"Good owner, good guy," Weaver said. "I was happy to win for him at Saratoga. He's famous. And I'm a Giants' fan. Great guy to train for."

Let's Go Big Blue was bred in New York by Fred W. Hertrich III and John D. Fielding. Parcells purchased the colt for $200,000 at the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic 2-Year-Olds in Training sale in May.
