WinStar Farm has set 2025 stud fees for its stallion roster, again headed by Constitution , who will stand for $110,000 (stands and nurses), and Life Is Good , who will stand for $75,000. The roster will be fortified further by the additions of Cogburn, who will be making his next start in the $1 million Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint (G1T) at Del Mar Nov. 2, with a stud fee to be announced after the race; Timberlake , who will stand for $20,000; and Heartland , who will stand for $10,000.

"We are excited for the 2025 breeding season and the strong stallion roster we are presenting to breeders," said Elliott Walden, WinStar president, CEO, and racing manager. "Constitution has taken another step forward in 2024 and solidified himself as an elite sire both on the racetrack and in the sales ring. It's encouraging to see his sons having success so early in his career.

"Life Is Good and Nashville came back to strong demand in their second crops this past season and both have a great foundation for future success that commercial breeders can have confidence in.

"We're excited to add three new sires to our roster—all of which have unique and elite talent. Cogburn, Timberlake, and Heartland will be well supported by the farm. Our team looks forward to working with breeders this year to create value and help achieve our collective goals."

Constitution is the No. 5 General Sire with progeny earnings this season of $12,577,533, and he is the No. 3 leading sire of 3-year-olds this year by earnings, behind only Justify  and Into Mischief . A Top 10 yearling sire in 2023 and 2024, Constitution has been represented by yearlings this year of $1.2 million, $1.1 million, $1 million, $975,000, etc. His leading runners in 2024 include classic-placed Mindframe, second in the Belmont Stakes (G1) and Haskell Stakes (G1); Catching Freedom, third in the Preakness Stakes (G1) and winner of the Louisiana Derby (G2) and Smarty Jones Stakes; Neat, winner of the National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame Stakes (G2T), the Manila Stakes (G3T), and the Transylvania Stakes (G3T); Pin Up Betty, winner of the Regret Stakes (G3T); and Steal Sunshine, victorious in the Gulfstream Park Mile (G2).

Life Is Good, a four-time grade 1 winner in his exceptional racing career, enters his third season at stud in 2025. Into Mischief's fastest son, Life Is Good earned nine triple-digit Beyers: 112, 110, 109, 107, 107, 106, 105, 105, and 101. In 2022, he was a three-time grade 1 winner. He was an effortless winner of the Woodward Stakes (G1), an uncontested winner of the Whitney Stakes (G1), and a dominant winner of the Pegasus World Cup (G1) over Horse of the Year Knicks Go . He also won the $1 million Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile (G1) by 5 3/4 lengths, the largest margin at the 2021 Breeders' Cup. Life Is Good was bred to 192 mares in his first season at stud, and to 186 mares in 2024. His first weanlings sell this year.

Cogburn, a son of Not This Time , was an electrifying winner of the $500,000 Jaipur Stakes (G1T) during the Belmont Racing Festival at Saratoga Race Course over the summer where he set a North American record for 5 1/2 furlongs on turf. After an opening quarter in a sizzling :21.33 and a half-mile split in :43.07, Cogburn flew home in an eye-popping final time of :59.80, easily eclipsing the previous North American record of 1:00.21 set in 2019. Following the Jaipur, Cogburn proved an authoritative winner of the $2 million Turf Sprint Stakes (G2T) at Kentucky Downs, where he completed six furlongs in 1:07.68, just missing another course record. Heading into the Breeders' Cup, Cogburn is a winner in nine of 15 lifetime starts with earnings of $2,392,630.

Timberlake, winner of the stallion-making Champagne Stakes (G1), is a millionaire son of Into Mischief. He joins Practical Joke  as the only other son of Into Mischief to win a grade 1 as a 2-year-old. In completing the one-mile Champagne in 1:35.90 over the sloppy (sealed) track and earning a 93 Beyer, Timberlake left in his wake Fierceness, the subsequent 2-Year-Old Champion Male. Making his seasonal debut at 3, Timberlake won the $1,250,000 Rebel Stakes (G2) at Oaklawn Park. In addition to his stakes wins, Timberlake finished a close second in the Hopeful Stakes (G1) at 2 and was third in the Haskell this year. Timberlake won or placed in five of nine career starts, including three grade 1s, for trainer Brad Cox while banking $1,303,100.

Heartland is a son of Justify , racing's 13th Triple Crown winner, and a half brother to Champion 2-Year-Old Classic Empire. Heartland flashed his brilliance in a head-turning debut at Del Mar. In blitzing his foes in a 5 1/2-furlong maiden special weight, Heartland overcame a troubled start to win going away by two lengths for trainer Bob Baffert. His time of 1:03.20 was the fastest of any 2-year-old at the distance at Del Mar or Saratoga in 2023.
