Pleasant Acres Stallions is pleased to announce the arrival of Champions Dream to Florida for the 2025 breeding season at a $5,000 fee. The 4-year-old, grade 3-winning son of Triple Crown winner Justify is out of Dancinginherdreams, a grade 2 winner by Tapit .
"It's always a great day when a talented and well-bred stallion arrives at Pleasant Acres Stallions," said director of stallion services Christine Jones. "When a graded stakes-winning son of Justify arrives, you can imagine our excitement.
"Champions Dream has an exceptional pedigree with a lot of black-type on his dam side. We are confident he will be a great addition for Florida breeders commercially and at the racetrack."
Champions Dream scored on debut at Saratoga Racecourse in a 7-furlong maiden special weight on the dirt, and two races later went on to win in the Nashua Stakes (G3) at Aqueduct Racetrack going a mile on the dirt. He placed second in the black-type Pasco Stakes at Tampa Bay Downs at 3.
Champions Dream was a $425,000 purchase at the 2022 Ocala Breeders' Sales Company March Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training off a :20 4/5 quarter-mile breeze during the under tack show.
Champions Dream's dam was the 2010 Pocahontas Stakes (G2) winner. Dancinginherdreams is a half sister to stakes winner Doubled and to Callmenancy, dam of grade 2 winner Texas Wedge, winner of the Joe Hernandez Stakes (G2T) at Santa Anita Park and the World of Trouble Turf Sprint Stakes at Gulfstream Park.
"From the very start, Champions Dream was a special horse," said Rafael Weiss, owner of Rosedown Racing Stables. "He broke his maiden at first asking in Saratoga and moved forward from there. His last race was another indication of his true ability, determination, and excellent physique. He is intelligent and his demeanor is easygoing.
"We plan to breed a number of our better mares to him and are purchasing several more for him. We are convinced his brilliant early speed and pedigree are a great fit for Florida."
Champions Dream won the final race of his career, a second-level allowance going a mile and 70 yards on the all-weather track at Gulfstream Park. He led wire to wire while earning a career-best 104 Equibase Speed Figure.
