High-class horses in training and well-bred fillies and broodmares from Godolphin, Juddmonte, and Shadwell feature for the Tattersalls July Sale next month.

Taking place at Park Paddocks in Newmarket from July 8-10, the sale is comprised of 837 horses and fillies in/out of training and 94 broodmares, 11 of which have foals at foot. Among its leading graduates is Entreat, the dam of recent Prix du Jockey Club (G1) hero Camille Pissarro, picked up by James Cloney for US$19,144 in 2016.

The broodmares on offer include mares covered by exciting young sires including Auguste Rodin, Big Evs, Bradsell, City of Troy, King of Steel, Look de Vega, and Vandeek as well as Chaldean, Good Guess, Isaac Shelby, Little Big Bear, Mostahdaf, Paddington, Shaquille, and Triple Time.

Proven group 1 sires represented include Ardad, Australia, Cotai Glory, Dark Angel, Gleneagles, Kodiac, Make Believe, Mehmas, Nathaniel, and Showcasing.

Godolphin is set to offer Midnight Fair, a Raven's Pass half sister to group 1 winners Ghaiyyath and Zhukova, offered in foal to Space Blues; as well as Magical Treasure, a Sea The Stars sister to group 1 winner Sea Silk Road. Picture House, the Kingman  half sister to the June 1 Prix du Jockey Club runner-up Cualificar, also features among the operation's offering.

Juddmonte's consignment include well-bred fillies headed by recent winners Latakia and Golden Splendour, the latter a daughter of Golden Horn and 2013 Nassau Stakes (G1) scorer Winsili, as well as Orchid Bouquet, a Kingman sister to 2018 Coventry Stakes (G2) winner and late sire Calyx, plus Quadratic, a Dubawi daughter of 2019 Fillies' Mile (G1) heroine Quadrilateral.

Other breeding stock highlights include Triggers Broom, the dam of 2020 Middle Park Stakes (G1) winner and young sire Supremacy, offered by the National Stud in foal to 2023 Two Thousand Guineas (G1) and 2022 Dewhurst Stakes (G1) winner Chaldean. Listed winner Miaharris will be offered by Baroda Stud in foal to 2024 Epsom Derby (G1) hero and 2023 champion juvenile City of Troy.

The horses-in-training section includes 2023 Two Thousand Guineas runner-up Hi Royal, who was a close second in the Thirsk Hunt Cup last month, as well as the June 1 listed Baden-Baden Silberne Peitsche winner Kylian, 2024 group-winning juvenile Cowardofthecounty, and the smart Jouncy, Juddmonte's Wootton Bassett gelding out of Frankel 's half sister Joyeuse.

Tattersalls chairman Edmond Mahony said: "Camille Pissarro's classic victory in the Prix du Jockey Club was the latest example of the Tattersalls July Sale's extraordinary record of producing broodmares of the very highest caliber on the International stage. His dam was purchased for just 14,000 guineas and illustrates the outstanding quality to be found at all levels of the market. Along with group 1-winning sprinter Regional and Champion Hurdle winner Golden Ace, purchased for 3,500 guineas and 12,000 guineas respectively, they reflect the immense value and diversity that is available at Europe's leading midsummer sale.

"This year's Tattersalls July catalog features the usual compelling combination of well-bred fillies and in-foal mares, high-class horses in training, and significant consignments from leading owner/breeders, all of which look set to attract plenty of interest from domestic and international buyers alike."
