"We are excited about the items for this year's auction, but most especially sterling silver bracelets made with horsehair from seven amazing Thoroughbreds. I am sure they will be the envy of all who see and want," states Julie Kwasniewski, Executive Director.
Bracelets were made by local jeweler Beth Johnson, of Paris, KY, using hair from Cody's Wish, Goodnight Olive, Gun Runner, Rachel Alexandra, Silver Charm, Tapit, and Zenyatta. Each bracelet comes with letter of authenticity. BGFC appreciates the farms who donated mane and tail hair for this project: Godolphin's Jonabell Farm, Gainesway Farm, Lane's End Farm, Old Friends, Resolute Racing, Stonestreet Farms, and Three Chimneys Farm.
These Kings and Queens of the track have left a mark in the industry with multiple Grade I wins along with winning the hearts of many fans.
