Fasig-Tipton announce Oct. 20 the addition of two more graded stakes winners to its Nov. 3 The November Sale, the company's selected mixed sale to in Lexington.
Clicquot, winner of the Cotillion Stakes (G1) Sept. 20, is cataloged as Hip 221. The 3-year-old daughter of Quality Road defeated the best of her generation in the Cotillion Stakes, including grade 1 winners Scottish Lassie, La Cara, and Good Cheer, winner of this year's Kentucky Oaks (G1).
Clicquot's next anticipated start is the Nov. 1 Breeders' Cup Distaff (G1) at Del Mar.
Racing for X-Men Racing IV, Madaket Stables, and SF Racing, Clicquot has won four consecutive starts this year at 3, which include the Indiana Oaks (G3). She has current earnings of $840,153.
Clicquot is out of the multiple stakes-producing mare Royal Obsession, a graded stakes-placed daughter of Tapit . She hails from a top-class female family that includes grade 1 winner Magnificent Song, graded stakes winners Lech and Savina, graded-placed stakes winner Crimson Guard, and Champagne Stakes (G1) runner-up Talkin (Good Magic ).
She will be consigned as a racing/broodmare prospect by Hill 'n' Dale Farm at Xalapa, agent.
Also added to the November sale is graded stakes winner Italian Soiree (Hip 222). A 3-year-old daughter of Uncle Mo, she won this year's Coronation Cup Stakes (G3T). Last year at 2, she excelled on dirt, winning her debut and then finishing second in the Adirondack Stakes (G3) at Saratoga Race Course.
Italian Soiree is a full sister to Be Better, a stakes winner of $347,300. She is out of a half sister to graded stakes winner Old Time Hockey, and her third dam is grade 1 winner Likeable Style. She hails from the immediate family of multiple grade 1 winner and prominent sire Scat Daddy.
Italian Soiree will be consigned as a racing/broodmare prospect by Gainesway, agent.
The latest entries increase the number of graded stakes winners and producers cataloged in the November sale to 71, 30 of which are grade 1.
