The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) today announced the addition of one day of live racing on Wednesday, December 10 as part of the fall meet at Aqueduct Racetrack.
Following the cancellation of live racing after the completion of Race 1 on Sunday, November 30, NYRA, the New York Thoroughbred Horsemen's Association (NYTHA) and New York Thoroughbred Breeders, Inc. (NYTB) requested and have received formal approval from the New York State Gaming Commission to conduct live racing on December 10 at Aqueduct.
Entries for the December 10 card will be taken on Thursday, December 4.
The Aqueduct fall meet, which spans November 6 through Wednesday, December 31, is highlighted by the Grade 2, $500,000 Cigar Mile for 3-year-olds and up on Saturday, December 6.
