Keeneland released the catalog April 15 for its April Selected Horses of Racing Age Sale, which will be held the evening April 24, following the races on the closing day of the spring meet. Click here for the online catalog.

Keeneland will accept approved supplemental entries to the April sale until the sale date, allowing sellers to take advantage of current form—including performances during the spring meet.

The auction will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET and be livestreamed on Keeneland.com.

"The April sale really captures the momentum of spring racing at its peak," Keeneland vice president of sales Tony Lacy said. "Because it's held on closing day of the spring meet, which concludes just days before the Kentucky Derby, it capitalizes on a moment when the energy and the audience are at their apex at Keeneland. That setting helps create a dynamic live auction atmosphere for people looking for race-ready horses."

The catalog includes many horses that are lightly raced and have current form. The entries average six lifetime starts, and nearly half of those cataloged are winners in 2026.

Horses of note in the catalog include:

  • Collect the Data (Hip 3): A five-time winner, Collect the Data recently returned from a freshening to win an allowance optional claimer at Aqueduct Racetrack, going 1 mile on the dirt for her third consecutive victory. Out of the winning Discreet Cat mare Discreet Lady, the 5-year-old, New York-bred daughter of Upstart  is from the family of graded stakes winners Z Humor and Octane. She is consigned by ELiTE, agent.
  • Dare to Fly (Hip 5): A stakes-placed 4-year-old Daredevil filly, she won an allowance at Oaklawn Park in her most recent race. Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent, consigns Dare to Fly, who has finished first, second, or third in eight of 14 races and has earned more than $250,000. Her dam is Dee Dee Bertie, a winning daughter of Bluegrass Cat and a half sister to two graded stakes winners.
  • Epic Desire (Hip 8): A full brother to grade 1 winner Adare Manor, the 3-year-old son of Uncle Mo scored his first win at Tampa Bay Downs in January before contesting the Sam F. Davis Stakes and the Virginia Derby. Out of grade 3 winner Brooklynsway, by Giant Gizmo, he is consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent.
  • Faena (Hip 11): Grovendale Sales, agent, consigns the 3-year-old daughter of Candy Ride , who won her career debut at Gulfstream Park in March. Her dam is All Quality, a winning daughter of Quality Road .
  • Garamond (Hip 13): A Juddmonte homebred, the 4-year-old son of Uncle Mo placed in the Gotham Stakes (G3) in 2025. Consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent, he is entered in an allowance optional claimer at Aqueduct April 18. Garamond is out of the Tapit  mare Blue Watch, a daughter of European champion and millionaire Special Duty.
  • General Graham (Hip 14): Victorious in his two races to date, the 3-year-old son of Omaha Beach  won at Keeneland April 8. From the family of 2025 Horse of the Year Sovereignty, he is out of grade 1-placed Flying Spur, by Giant's Causeway. General Graham is consigned by Kenneally Racing, agent.
  • Lemon's Law (Hip 15): ELiTE, agent for Resolute Racing, consigns the 3-year-old Constitution  colt who has placed in three of his four starts, including a runner-up finish in his most recent race at Gulfstream. A half brother to Raise Cain, winner of the 2023 Gotham and Perryville stakes, and from the family of champion Unique Bella, he is out of Lemon Belle, a winning daughter of Lemon Drop Kid.
  • Megalodon (Hip 18): The 4-year-old son of Medaglia d'Oro placed in the Marine Stakes (G3) and the Rushaway Stakes last year. From the family of champion Forte  and out of stakes winner Student Body, by Colonel John, Megalodon is consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent.
  • Multiverse (Hip 20): An allowance winner at Colonial Downs in his most recent race in March, the 4-year-old son of Practical Joke  placed in the Hutcheson Stakes last year and has been in the money in eight of 11 starts. Out of String Section, by Candy Ride, he is consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent.
  • Sweet Scorecard (Hip 29): The 4-year-old daughter of Vekoma  has won both of her races in 2026, taking a starter allowance at Keeneland April 9. Consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent, Sweet Scorecard is out of the Hold Me Back mare Sweet Halory and from the family of grade/group 2 winners Halory Hunter and Van Nistelrooy.
  • Talbingo (Hip 30): First or second in six of his seven career starts, the lightly raced 5-year-old gelding by Classic Empire was first and second in allowance-level company at Gulfstream in his two races this year. Out of grade 3 winner Northern Passion, by First Samurai, he is consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent.

A print catalog will be available for pickup at Keeneland's Information Center, located near the Grandstand South and Clubhouse entrances, beginning April 17. A supplemental catalog will be printed prior to the sale.

Because of the changeable nature of horses of racing age catalogs, consignments will be stabled and a barn order list produced and distributed on or around April 20, when the catalog—including supplements—is close to final.

Recent graduates of the April sale include Masmak, winner of the Jebal Ali Mile (G3) at Meydan Racecourse in February; Spirit of St Louis, who won the Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational Stakes (G1T) at Gulfstream last year; and Dana's Beauty, a multiple stakes winner in 2025.
