Dona Clota powered home to score in the $250,000 Robert G. Dick Memorial Stakes (G3T) June 13 at Delaware Park

Under jockey Irad Ortiz Jr., the 5-year-old daughter of Ivan Denisovich settled toward the back of the field off pacesetter Storm Miami, who posted fractions of :26.01, :51.89, 1:17.53, 1:41.40, and 2:05.37. The Saffie Joseph Jr. trainee raced comfortably in fifth down the backstretch, unhurried, and began to make her move for the lead as the field traveled around the far turn. She came into the stretch under a drive, grabbed the lead in midstretch, and held off a fast charge from Bill Mott's Alluring Angel to win by a neck over that rival. Owned by Resolute Racing, Dona Clota completed the 1 3/8 miles on the firm turf in a final time of 2:16.77. As the post-time favorite, she paid $5.20 to win.

Under jockey Luis Saez, Storm Miami crossed the wire third, but was disqualified to fourth after a stewards' inquiry determined she interfered with fourth-place finisher Bellezza in the stretch drive.

Dona Clota earned her first win in the United States after six starts since moving to the States in January 2025. The mare originally raced in her native Chile, where she scored in two group 1 events for owner Stud Dona Lili before being purchased by Resolute Racing.
